January 30, 2006: State of works near Lake E. About 30mm of
rainfall fell near the site in late Jan. Works likely to extend into April/May.
Jan 30: Water already being diverted into Lake E extension.
This water is likely to be highly turbid.
Jan 30: Rain gathering in Lake E extension. Ponding happening
within 30 metres of Yarra River in places.
Jan 30: More heavy earthworks near Lake E.
Jan 30: Lake E extension starting to fill with turbid water.
Jan 30: Holes being completed near Lake A.
Jan 30: 10th hole works proceeding. Silt traps still engorged
with turbid construction water.

volume. This is the lowest the water levels in this dam have been for 14 months.

on floodplain. Note turbidity of the water.
